Kajer grew up in Northern WI riding dirtbikes and ATV's. He took a long break from riding when he joined the Marine Corps in 1986. He started riding again in 2001 and has been riding almost everyday since then.
He moved to AZ in 2007 and is one of the 9 founding members of the Crusaders for the Children Motorcycle Club. The Crusaders MC was founded to provide abused and neglected children in the local area support and comfort when they are in need. The Crusaders MC operates on the principle that every child deserves to have a voice and the Crusaders stand with these children to ensure their voice is heard.
The Crusaders MC focuses on two major events annually in partnership with Arizona Bike Week. Kajer works with a great group of Crusaders and volunteers to coordinate and execute the silent and live auctions on Saturday and the Child Empowerment Ride (the final run of bike week) on Sunday. The funds raised at these events help the Crusaders carry out their mission:
We are the Crusaders For The Children! We stand ready to assist children in need - the survivors of abuse or neglect and those suffering through illness. Our crusade is to raise awareness in our local community to recognize the needs of these little ones; every child deserves to have a voice. The Phoenix represents the embodiment of an individual that has become renewed or restored after suffering tragedy or apparent annihilation. The Crusaders For The Children provide unity, strength, hope, and encouragement for our innocent angels to rise like the Phoenix from the ashes of their past. Their rebirth brings with it the power of recognizing their own strength with refreshed idealism and hope.
